Article The transcription factor Nanog regulates self-renewal in pluripotent stem cells and cancer stem cells. Here the authors show that Nanog is expressed in mouse adult stratified epithelia, and its overexpression increases proliferation and aneuploidy and activates pathways associated to mitosis.
