    Description / Table of Contents: Imidosulfuryl DifluoridesA series of imidosulfuryl difluorides Zn(NSOF2)n is obtained from the corresponding halides and Hg(NSOF2)2 (see Tab. 1). Further possibilities of syntheses are described and the i.r., mass, and 19F n.m.r. spectra are reported. Imidosulfuryl difluorides can be regarded as pseudohalides.
    Notes: Die Synthese einer Vielzahl von Imidosulfuryldifluoriden Zn(NSOF2)n gelingt durch Umsetzung der entsprechenden Halogenverbindungen mit Hg(NSOF2)2 (vgl. Tab 1). Weitere Darstellungsmöglichkeiten werden beschrieben und die IR-, Massen- und 19F-NMR-Spektren der neuen Verbindungen mitgeteilt. Imidosulfuryldifluoride können als Pseudohalogenide bezeichnet werden.

    Description / Table of Contents: Chemical Reactions in Fused Salts, XVI: Synthesis and Properties of Some Trifluoroacetyl PseudohalidesTrifluoroacetyl chloride (1) reacts with alkali pseudohalide, dissolved in a fused salt bath, to give trifluoroacetyl pseudohalides CF3C(O)X (X = CN, NCO, NCS, N3, which are readily accessable by this method. Compounds like Me3Si — NCCF3(CN) (5) CF3 CO—NCCl2 (8), CF3CO —NCN — SiMe3 (11), and CF3CO—NCF(NSF2) (12) are obtained as subsequent products.
    Notes: Trifluoracetyl-chlorid (1) wird mit in einer Salzschmelze gelösten Alkali-pseudohalogeniden zu Trifluoracetyl-pseudohalogeniden CF3C(O)X (X = CN, NCO, NCS, N3) umgesetzt, wodurch diese günstiger zugänglich werden. Die Verbindungen Me3Si—NCCF3(CN) (5), CF3 CO — NCCl2 (8), CF3CO — NCN — SiMe3 (11) und CF3 CO — NCF(NSF2) (12) wurden als Folgeprodukte dargestellt.

    Description / Table of Contents: Element-Orgainc Amine/Imine compounds, XXVII1). - Polycyclic Phosphorus-Nitrogen Rhenium(I) ComplexesThe amine-stabilized sulfimides RN=SO2 Ň7H13 8, 9, and 10 could be obtained by reaction of sulfamoyl chlorides RNH-SO2Cl [R=C6F5 4, (CF3)2CH 5, (CF3)2CHOCO 6] with quinuclidine (7). A direct approach to 8 and 15 was found by oxidation of N-sulfinylamines RN=SO [R=C6F5 12, (CF3)2CF 14] with quinuclidine N-oxide or trimethylamine N-oxide, respectively. The X-ray structure analysis of 8 indicates a doublebond in the N=SO2 group, while the amine is tetrahedrally coordinated in a distance to the sulfur atom longer than a single bond. Additional reaction of N-sulfinylamines or sulfamoyl chlorides are reported.
    Notes: Die aminstabilisierten Sulfimide RN=SO2Ň7H13 8, 9 und 10 konnten durch Reaktion der Sulfamoylchloride RNH-SO2Cl [R=C6F5 4, (CF3)2CH 5, (CF3)2CHOCO 6] mit Chinuclidin (7) erhalten werden. Ein direkter Zugang zu 8 und 15 wurde durch Oxidation der N-Sulfinylamine RN=SO [R=C6F5 12, (CF3)2CF 14] mit Chinuclidin-N-oxid bzw. Trimethylamin-N-oxid gefunden. Die Röntgenstrukturanalyse an 8 weist auf eine Doppelbindung in der N=SO2-Gruppe hin, während das Amin tetraedrisch in einem Abstand zum Schwefelatom koordiniert ist, der länger als einer Einfachbindung entsprechend ist. Weitere Reaktionen von N-Sulfinylaminen bzw. Sulfamoylchloriden werden beschrieben.

    Description / Table of Contents: Amine-Stabilized Sulfenes, their Synthesis and StructureThe synthesis of quinuclidine-stabilized sulfenes of the type XCH2—SO2—C(Y)=SO2←N(CH2CH2)3CH (3a-d, X = Y = H, Cl, Br/H, CF3) is described, and a first insight into structural relations of sulfenes could be obtained by X-ray structure analysis of 3d. Hydrolysis affords the ammonium salts XCH2—SO2—CHY—SO-3 [HN(CH2CH2)3CH]+ (5a-d), whereas the corresponding methyl quinuclidinium salts (6a, b) are formed under methanolysis.
    Notes: Die Synthese Chinuclidin-stabilisierter Sulfene des Typs XCH2—SO2—C(Y)=SO2←N(CH2CH2)3CH (3a-d, X = Y = H, Cl, Br/H, CF3) wird beschrieben, und ein erster Einblick in die Bindungsverhältnisse von Sulfenen konnte durch Röntgenstrukturuntersuchung von 3d erhalten werden. Hydrolyse ergibt die Ammoniumsalze XCH2—SO2—CHY—SO-3 [HN(CH2CH2)3CH]+ (5a-d), während bei der Methanolyse die entsprechenden Methylchinuclidinium-Salze (6a, b) gebildet werden.

    Notes: Synthesis of Chloro(trichloromethyl)sulfine, Cl3C(Cl)C=SOThe unstable trichlorothioacetyl chloride (2) could be trapped by a Diels-Alder reaction with anthracene to form the adduct 3, which in turn could be oxidized to the corresponding sulfine adduct 4. Finnaly, chloro(trichloromethyl)sulfine (5) was prepared in good yield by vacuum thermolysis (retro Diels-Alder reaction) of 4.
