Summary In Antibes area, outbreaks ofC. rusci onFicus sp. occur after regular periods of 2 or 3 years. The most important natural enemies of this pest are: -Coccophagus lycimnia Wilk. (Aphelinids), -Scutellista cyanea Motsch. (Pteromalids), -Tomocera california How. (Pteromalids), and two species of the genusTetrastichus (Eulophids). One of these is a primary parasite and the second is parasitic on the first. It is supposed that these are the key factors of the dynamic of population ofC. rusci.
