Description / Table of Contents:
Abstract:
Summary After an historical introduction dealing with the history of analytical chemistry during the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, the author shows the importance of microchemistry in all the modern fields of analysis. On the basis of studies made with his collaborators, he discusses the establishment of a new semi-microchemical method, based on the sensitivity, specificity and the visibility of reactions. Finally, going on to colorimetry, he takes up all the interesting matters which this technique may offer for microchemistry.
Notes:
