Abstract The agonists of μ-opiate receptors, DAGO and DALDA, prevent stress-induced enhancement of99mTc-pyrophosphate accumulation in the myocardium, which attests to cardioprotective activity of these opioids. This phenomenon is presumably related to modulating effect of these agents on the adrenergic stage in pathogenesis of stress-induced damage to the heart.
