    Description: The tribe Planitorini van Achterberg (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Euphorinae) is revised. One new genus Paramannokeraia gen. n. (type species: P. gibsoni sp. n.) and five new species from Australia are described and illustrated: Mannokeraia albipalpis van Achterberg, sp. n., M. nigrita van Achterberg, sp. n., M. punctata van Achterberg, sp. n., Paramannokeraia gibsoni van Achterberg & Quicke, sp. n. and P. juliae van Achterberg, sp. n. The tribe Mannokeraiini van Achterberg, 1995, is synonymized with the tribe Planitorini (syn. n.).

    Description: The West Palaearctic species of the genus Agathis Latreille, 1804 (Braconidae: Agathidinae) are revised and keyed. Forty-six species of Agathis are treated as valid, of which 29 occur in Europe; three species of the former Agathis mediator group (Bassus brevicaudus (Reinhard, 1867) comb. nov., B. mediator (Nees, 1814), and B. pumilus (Ratzeburg, 1844)) are transferred to the genus Bassus Nees, 1804. One new species (A. hemirufa) from Spain is described. Neotypes are designated for Agathis malvacearum Latreille, 1805, A. nigra Nees, 1814, A. rufipalpis Nees, 1814, A. syngenesiae Nees, 1814, A. tibialis Nees, 1814, and A. umbellatarum Nees, 1814. Bassus kaszabi (Papp, 1971) is a new combination and a new junior synonym of Bassus linguarius (Nees, 1814).

    Description: The cosmopolitan subfamily Blacinae Foerster (Braconidae) is revised with special reference to the Oriental and Australian species. Two new genera are described from Chile: Chalarope and Grypokeros. All known species are keyed, 53 new species are described and fully illustrated, seven new combinations, and five new synonyms are proposed. Lectotypes are designated for eight species. A cladistic analysis of the relationships between the (sub)genera of the subfamily is given and a cladogram is presented.

    Description: The genera of the subfamilies Betylobraconinae, Hormiinae, Lysiterminae, Pambolinae-Chremylini, and Doryctinae-Ypsistocerini are revised. A key is given to the genera of groups belonging to the cyclostome grade including species with shortened and/or (partly) widened fore tarsus. Sixteen new genera and 62 new species are described and illustrated. The new genera concern: Mannokeraia gen. nov. (type species: M. apterus spec. nov. from Australia), Masona gen. nov. (type species: M. prognatha spec. nov. from U.S.A.), Anachyra gen. nov. (type species: A. setosipes spec. nov. from Australia), Pseudochremylus gen. nov. (type species: P. angulifer spec. nov. from Australia), Chremyloides gen. nov. (type species: C. cardaleae spec. nov. from Australia), Apoavga gen. nov. (type species: Avga cardalei Belokobylskij, 1989, from Australia), Hormiitis gen. nov. (type species: H. brevitarsis spec. nov. from Australia), Rhinoprotoma gen. nov. The genus Viridipyge Whitfield, 1988, is synonymized with Stiropius Cameron, 1911. A neotype is designated for Bracon moniliatus Nees, 1812. The tribes Canberriini Belokobylskij, 1993, and Austrohormiini Belokobylskij, 1993, are synonymized with Avgini Belokobylskij, 1993; and Chremylomorphini Belokobylskij, 1993, with Cedriina Belokobylskij, 1993. The subtribes Acanthormiina Belokobylskij, 1993, and Tritermina Belokobylskij, 1993, are synonymized with Lysiterminae Tobias, 1968.

    Description: Three genera of the subfamily Doryctinae Foerster, 1862 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) are treated and keyed: Ptesimogaster Marsh, 1965, Caingangia Marsh, 1993, and Leptodoryctes Barbalho & Penteado- Dias, 1999. The latter genus is characterised by the presence of an apical setal comb on the hind tibia. Two new genera are described: Ptesimogastroides gen. nov. (type species: P. cerdai spec. nov. from French Guiana and Brazil) and Dicarinoryctes gen. nov. (type species: D. apicalis spec. nov. from French Guiana). A further three new species are described: Caingangia delicata spec. nov. from French Guiana, Leptodoryctes barbalhoae spec. nov. from French Guiana, and Ptesimogaster lemkoi spec. nov. from Brazil. Pseudorhoptrocentrus platyfemur (Marsh, 1993) is a new combination.

    Description: The European species of the subgenus Aliolus Say, 1836, of the genus Eubazus Nees, 1814, and of the genus Dicyrtaspis van Achterberg, 1980 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Brachistinae) are reviewed. The identity of Triaspis thomsoni Fahringer, 1934, and the interpretation by S\xcb\x98 nofl\xc3\xa1k (1953) are discussed. A lectotype is designated for T. thomsoni, a neotype for the types species of Aliolus Say, 1836 (Bracon trilobatus Say, 1836) and T. thomsoni sensu \xc5\xa0nofl\xc3\xa1k is described as a new species (Eubazus nigroventralis spec. nov.) from Bulgaria, Germany and Czech Republic. Two new species of the E. lepidus-group are described and illustrated (E. punctifer cpec. nov. from Bulgaria and E. planifacialis spec. nov. from The Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden). In addition, a closely related species of the type species (and up to now only known species) of the genus Dicyrtaspis van Achterberg from Bulgaria is described and illustrated (D. aurantia spec. nov.). A key to the European species of the subgenus Aliolus Say, and of the genus Dicyrtaspis van Achterberg is added.
