    Description: A highly effective approach to the solution of the radiative transfer equation, including the effects of emission, absorption, and multiply scattered radiation, is described. The transfer equation is cast in its unsteady hyperbolic form which is amenable to several different numerical methods of solution. Comparisons of solutions with emission, absorption, and scattering of radiation, are presented to demonstrate the validity of the present approach.
