    Description / Table of Contents: Synthesis of [11-(S-Carbamoylethyl)-L-homocysteine]-Eledoisin-(6-11)-hexapeptide AmideThe synthsis of an analogue of the C-terminal sequence 6-11 of eledoisin is described. The influence of the γ-sulphur substituent on the biological activity is investigated by replacement of methionine amide with S-(carbamoylethyl)-L-homocysteine amide. The analogue is synthesized by (4 + 2) fragment condensation using the mixed anhydride method.
    Notes: Es wird die Synthese eines Analogen der C-terminalen Teilsequenz 6-11 von Eledoisin beschrieben. Durch Substitution des Methioninamids durch S-(Carbamoyläthyl)-L-homocysteinamid wird der Einfluß des γ-ständigen Schwefelsubstituenten auf die biologische Aktivität untersucht. Der Aufbau erfolgt durch (4 + 2)-Fragmentkondensation mittels der Mischanhydrid-Methode.
