    Notes: Abstract The synthesis of an unsymmetrical cystine peptide corresponding to the sequence 10–25/75–88 of mouse nerve growth factor was performed via the newly developed sulfenohydrazide procedure. The triacontapeptide isolated at a high degree of purity after Sephadex-LH 20 chromatography, did not exhibit in the biological assays the expected nerve growth factor activity as reported byRevoltella and coworkers.
