    Description: The effect of MS 222 for inducing anaesthesia in 60 P. radiata was studied under different concentration and various stimulating factors. Based on the results of mortality rate, induction time, duration of anaesthesia, recovery time, responses of the organism to the ansthetic and handling , it was concluded that the concentration of 1ppt of MS 222 was the best for indiucing anaesthesia, in P. radiata.
