Notes:
Driven equilibrium and spin-echo Fourier transform spectroscopy (DEFT and SEFT) were used to observe 29Si high-resolution solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance with magic-angle spinning (MAS NMR) spectra of zeolites. The sequences allow the measurement of T2 relaxation times, dramatic improvements in signal-to-noise ratios and selective observation of signals with long T2 relaxation times. This last criterion permits the simplification of 29Si spectra of highly aluminous zeolites, yielding important crystallographic information.
