Summary Authors investigated 100 moulds occurring in nature for the production of antibiotic substances against gram-negative microorganisms. Four of the 100 investigated strains were found to be active. Of these one strains of Penicillum chloroleucon which is active againstV. cholerae, S. typhi, S. paratyphi A, and Dis. Shiga, was analysed with special care.
