    Firbimatic Vacuum Degreaser Cleaning Study (2019)

    Description: The purpose of this cleaning study was to establish the baseline of contaminants that can be removed using the Firbimatic Multisolvent 50-volt vacuum degreaser using Kyzens Metalnox M6386 Solvent on 2219 aluminum alloy panels. Four different cleaning methods were used with six known contaminants. For each contaminant, five panels were contaminatedone was kept as a control, and the remaining four were cleaned using the vacuum degreaser. All applicable NASA, company, laboratory, and test-specific standard test practices were followed. Pre- and post-test results and photographs can be found in the appendices.
