Notes: Abstract Linear ethylene oxide-dimethylsiloxane PEO-PDMS-PEO triblock copolymers have been synthesized by hydrosilation of α,ω-dihydropoly(dimethylsiloxane) $$\bar M_n = 750 - 1300$$ ) and α-methyl-ω-propargylpoly(ethylene oxide) $$\left( {\bar M_n = 350 - 750} \right)$$ . Studies by optical microscopy, complementary small-angle x-ray scattering (SAXS), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) have shown that the copolymers mixed with water are characterized by lyotropic liquid crystalline phases according to composition and temperature. The binary phase diagrams with varying copolymer composition are reported.

Description: The wide angle Rosat pointed survey (WARPS) of clusters is based on the Rosat position sensitive proportional counter (PSPC) archive of pointed observations. It includes extended X-ray sources and point-like X-ray sources with non-stellar optical counterparts. It was designed to minimize the selection effects while covering a large area of the sky. The purposes of the survey were to measure the low luminosity, high redshift, X-ray luminosity function of clusters and groups and to investigate cluster morphologies and unusual systems.
