    Description / Table of Contents: Lithium bis(trichlorosilyl)amide decomposes in the presence of silicon tetrachloride, tetrabromide, iodotrichloride or germanium tetrachloride, giving only decachloro-N,N′-bis(silyl)-cyclodi(silaz)ane. With iodosilane it reacts to bis(trichlorosilyl)-silyl-amine. With silicon tetrafluoride the product of reaction is bis(trichlorosilyl)-trifluorosilyl-amine. The latter compound rearranges already during its formation to give a nonseparable mixture with trichlorosilyl-dichlorosilyl-chlorodifluorosilyl-amine and tris(dichlorofluorosilyl)amine.
    Notes: Lithium-bis(trichlorsilyl)amid reagiert in Gegenwart von Siliciumtetrachlorid, -tetrabromid, -jodidtrichlorid oder Germaniumtetrachlorid nur unter Selbstzerfall zu Dekachlor-N,N′-bis(silyl)-cyclo-di(silaz)an, dagegen mit Jodsilan zu Bis-(trichlorsilyl)-silyl-amin und mit Siliciumtetrafluorid zu Bis(trichlorsilyl)-trifluorsilyl-amin. Dieses dismutiert jedoch noch während der Bildung teilweise zu einem nicht trennbaren Gemisch mit Trichlorsilyl-dichlorfluorsilyl-chlordifluorsilyl-amin und Tris(dichlorfluorsilyl)amin.

    Description / Table of Contents: Decamethylcyclotetrasilazane (I) was prepared starting with 1,3-dichloropentamethyldisilazane (II), 1.3-dichlorotetramethyldisilazane (III) and 1,3-bis-(methylamino)tetramethyldisilazane (IV). respectively, according to scheme 1, equ. (1), (2) and (3) in the text. (I) does not form, as given in the literature (equ. 4)5, by thermal transformation of bis(methylaminodimethylsilyl)-tetramethylcyclodisilazane (V); in this case exclusively - in equ. (2) and (3) only in side steps - the reaction products are a mixture of N-methylcyclotrisilazanes (scheme 2, VI-IX).
    Notes: Dekamethylcyclotetrasilazan (I) läßt sich aus 1,3-Dichlorpentamethyldisilazan (II), 1,3-Dichlortetramethyldisilazan (III) wie auch aus 1,3-Bis(methylamino)-tetramethyldisilazan (IV) gemäß Schema 1, Rkk. (1) bis (3), nicht jedoch durch die in der Literatur5 beschriebene thermische Umlagerung von Bis(methylaminodimethylsilyl)-tetramethylcyclodisilazan (V) (vgl. Rk. 4) darstellen. Hierbei entsteht ausschließlich, - in den Rkk. (2) und (3) nur auf Nebenwegen -, ein Gemisch von N-Methylcyclotrisilazanen (Schema 2, VI-IX).

    Description / Table of Contents: 1,5-Bis(alkylamino)octamethyltrisildiazanes react after metallation with element dichlorides according to reaction 3a and 3b respectivcly by forming ring compounds. In this way 1,2,8-organylsubstituted permethylated cyclotetrasilazanes (I, II) and inorganic eightmembered ringsystems BSi3N4. PSi3N4 and GeSi3N4, were prepared for the first time.
    Notes: 1,5-Bis(alkylamino)oktamethyltrisildiazane reagieren nach Metallierung mit Elementdichloriden über Rk. 3a oder 3 b unter Ringschluß. Neben 1,2,8-organylsubstituierten, permethylierten Cyclotetrasilazancn (I, II) ließen sich so erstmalig anorganische Achtringsysteme BSi3N4. PSi3N4 und GeSi3N4 darstellen.

(1) and (2) for the first time. They are characterized in their compounds I-VII.
    Notes: Nach dem Prinzip der Ringsynthesen durch Kondensation zweier dreigliedriger α,ω-difunktioneller Bausteine in hoher Verdünnung ließen sich erstmalig die aus 3 bzw. 4 verschiedenen Elementen bestehenden rein anorganischen Sechsringsysteme Si2SN3 und Si2SN2O mit Einfachbindungen im Ring und Schwefel der Oxydationszahl +6 aufbauen (Rkk. 1; 2) und in den Verbindungen I-VII charakterisieren.

    Notes: Versuche zur Darstellung von PNSi-haltigen Ringsystemen aus den PN-haltigen, bis auf I erstmalig synthetisierten Bausteinen I bis VI führten in oft überraschenden, undurchsichtigen Reaktionen unter milden Bedingungen zu vier-, sechs-, achtgliedrigen oder auch bi- und tricyclischen PN-Ringsystemen mit und ohne Si-Ringatom, wie sie in den Verbindungen A bis F isoliert und charakterisiert werden konnten.

The Disila-phospha(V)-diaza-cyclopentane Ring SystemCompounds of the disila-phospha(III)-diaza-cyclopentane ring system react with oxygen, sulphur, selenium, trimethylsilyl azide and tetracarbonyl nickel via oxidative addition or displacement resulting in derivatives of disila-phospha(V)-diaza-cyclopentane. The novel prepared substances are described in their properties and confirmed in their structure by elemental analysis, mass, n.m.r. and vibration spectroscopy.
    Notes: Disila-phospha(III)-diaza-cyclopentane reagieren mit Sauerstoff, Schwefel, Selen, Trimethylsilylazid und Nickeltetracarbonyl unter oxydierender Addition bzw. Verdrängung zu Derivaten eines Disila-phospha(V)-diaza-cyclopentan-Ringsystems. Die neu dargestellten Verbindungen werden in ihren Eigenschaften beschrieben und über Elementaranalysen, Massen-, Kernresonanz- und Schwingungsspektren in ihrer Struktur bestätigt.

    Description / Table of Contents: The violet coloration of Mn(II) solutions by fluorinated solutions of sulfuric acid, potassium sulfate and -bisulfate is not due to MnO4-, but to sulfato-Mn(III) complexes. Polysulfurperoxides and H2SO5 behave in an analogous manner. The postulated „Vergängliches Oxid“ (V. O.) (= „transitory oxide“) of FICHTER cannot have been the monomolecular compound „SO4“; there is no need to suppose such a V. O. in the l. c. mentioned fluorinated solutions.
    Notes: Die Violettfärbung von Mangan(II)-Lösungen durch fluorierte Lösungen von Schwefelsäure, Kaliumsulfat oder -hydrogensulfat beruht nicht, wie FICHTER annahm, auf der Bildung von Permanganat, sondern von Sulfato-mangan(III)-Komplexen. In ähnlicher Weise reagieren Polyschwefelperoxide und Peroxomonoschwefelsäure. Die Annahme eines „Vergänglichen Oxids“ ungewöhnlich hoher Oxydationskraft in den fluorierten Lösungen ist nicht nötig: monomolokulares SO4 liegt in den fluorierten Lösungen mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit nicht vor.

    Description / Table of Contents: On reaction of alkali metal peroxodisulphates with liquid sulphur trioxide at room temperature the latter is quantitatively reduced to SO2 according to equation (a) in “Inhaltsübersicht”. Peroxodiphosphates react mainly according to (b) and only to an extent of 10 - 15% according to (c). Interaction of potassium peroxodicarbonate and sulphur trioxide is represented to an extent of 60 - 100% by (d) and 40 - 0% by (e), depending on the reaction conditions.
    Notes: Die Umsetzung von Peroxodisulfaten mit flüssigem Schwefeltrioxid bei Zimmertemperatur verläuft quantitativ unter Reduktion des SO3 zu SO2 gemäß Peroxodiphosphate reagieren vorwiegend nach und nur zu 10-15% nach Kaliumperoxodicarbonat setzt sich je nach Reaktionsbedingungen zu 60 - 100% nach (d) und zu 40 - 0% nach (e) um:
