Article Endosomal sorting is regulated by phosphatidylinositol-3-phosphate and anomalies in this process are implicated in Alzheimer’s disease. Here the authors show that deficiency of phosphatidylinositol-3-phosphate in vitro enhances the pathological trafficking and processing of amyloid precursor protein.
