Description:
Magnetofermionic condensate in two dimensions Nature Communications, Published online: 16 November 2016; doi:10.1038/ncomms13499 The motion of particles in a quantum condensate state are described by a single macroscopic wave function, leading to a host of unusual properties. Here, the authors generate such a condensation of magnetically induced excitons, known as cyclotron magnetoexcitons, in a high-mobility quantum well.
