    Description: Unsteady bubble cloud cavitation phenomenon caused by negative pressure pulse has been treated numerically by applying a front tracking method. The behaviour of bubble cloud expanding and contracting is evaluated by tracking the motion of all bubble interfaces. Numerical investigation demonstrates that: (1) In the collapsing of bubble cloud micro liquid jets toward the inner bubbles are formed while the outer layer bubbles contract extremely, and then a high impact pressure is released when the inner central bubble contacts to its minimum. (2) The oscillation of bubble cloud depends upon the void fraction greatly. In the case of high void fraction, the frequency of cloud oscillation is lower than that of individual bubble and the decay of the oscillation becomes much slowly also.

    Description: In order to simulate the internal flow of centrifugal dredge pump accurately and efficiently, a meshfree simulation method is proposed, which is a method of smooth particle hydrodynamics (SPH). The fluid domain is discretized into Lagrangian particles, the blades, the pump body are discretized as solid particles, the governing equations for fluid, and solid mechanics are transformed into corresponding particle force. When the initial state is started, the particles move and continue to evolve under the action of these forces. The motion parameters of the flow field and solid can be obtained by interpolating the kernel function with the information of particle. The correctness of the control equations and the boundary conditions is verified by simulating the standard examples. The preliminary analysis of using this method to simulate the movement of the two-dimensional centrifugal dredge pump shows that the simulation results are reasonable.     Description: In this paper, the mathematical and the state space model of the electro-hydraulic joint load sensitive pressure system are established. Combined with the perfect performance on optimization of RBF neural network and sliding mode variable structure control algorithm in the complex hydraulic system, this paper proposes a RBF neural network adaptive sliding-mode control algorithm. This paper designs a controller with the electro-hydraulic proportional overflow valve as the control object. The simulation results show that the RBF neural network adaptive sliding-mode controller has the advantages of high control accuracy, excellent dynamic response property and strong robustness in the complex electro-hydraulic system.

    Description: To investigate effects of the rotation of summer catch crops on remediation retrogressed soils in continuous cropping, a field experiment was conducted. Rice, water spinach, or cress were selected as summer catch crops; bare fallow during summer fallow was used as the control group. Results showed that aquatic crops grown in summer fallow period could effectively reduce soil bulk density and pH, facilitate soil nutrient release, and improve soil physical and chemical properties compared with those grown in fallow period. Paddy-upland rotation could improve soil microbial members and increase bacterial and actinomycete populations; by contrast, paddy-upland rotation could reduce fungal populations and enhance bacterium-to-fungus ratio.     Description: Sintered woven wire mesh structures are a classic porous medium. In this paper, we examined the internal flow behaviours of sintered metal wire mesh structures with 0.215mm diameter wires with different porosities. Following previous research results, the influence of woven mesh wire diameter on material penetrating quality was studied. The air that was applied by the gas source was used to investigate structure performance. The Reynolds numbers of the inlet changed from 8.2 to 66.1. The pressures and flow rate at the inlet and outlet were obtained to calculate the permeability and inertia coefficient of each specimen, as well as the friction factors. The experiment results showed that permeability increased and the inertia coefficient decreased as wire diameter increased.
