The RAMAN spectra of aqueous solutions of NaHSeO3, KHSeO3, Na2Se2O5, K2Se2O5, (NH4)2Se2O5, and that of NaDSeO3 in D2O are given at different concentrations. All spectra are identical. In these solutions following equilibrium is existing: O2SeOSeO2″ + H2O ⇄ 2 HOSeO2-. Tautomerism of the HOSeO2--ion is excluded. The splitting of the OH-stretching band of HOSeO2- in the IR-spectrum of a saturated solution of KHSeO3 in H2O is correlated to strong H-bonds.

Es werden die- RAMAN-Spektren von NaHSeO3, KHSeO3, Na2Se2O5, K2Se2O5 und (NH4)2Se2O5 in H2O und das von NaDSeO3 in D2O bei verschiedenen Konzentrationen mitgeteilt. Sämtliche Spektren sind identisch (siehe die analogen S-Verbindungen). Die Aufspaltung der OH-Valenzbande des Hydrogenselenitions im IR-Spektrum einer gesättigten wäßrigen KHSeO3-Lösung wird auf starke H-Brücken zurückgeführt.
