Zusammenfassung Nach Fällung der unlöslichen Chloride und Behandlung mit Salpetersäure zur Entfernung von Zinn und Antimon kann für den Trennungsgang des Restes der „gewöhnlichen“ Kationen mit Natriumsulfat und Ammoniumhydroxyd als Fällungsmittel das Auslangen gefunden werden. Schwefelwasserstoff oder sonstige sulfidhaltige Reagenzien können so vermieden werden. Im Mikromaßstab konnten in diesen Trennungsgang neben den üblichen Kationen auch die Elemente Wolfram, Titan, Molybdän und Zirkon aufgenommen werden.

Résumé Après précipitation des chlorures insolubles et traitement par l'acide nitrique pour éliminer l'étain et l'antimoine, le reste des cations «communs» peut être séparé en employant schématiquement du sulfate de sodium et de l'ammoniaque seulement comme précipitants. Ceci évite l'emploi soit de l'hydrogène sulfuré soit d'un réactif à base d'ion sulfure. A l'échelle micro, ce mode de séparation a été étendu pour inclure le tungstene, le titane, le molybdène et le zirconium avec les cations plus usuels.

Summary After precipitation of the insoluble chlorides and treatment with nitric acid to remove tin and antimony, the remainder of the “common” cations may be separated schematically using only sodium sulphate and ammonium hydroxide as precipitants. This avoids the use of either sulphuretted hydrogen or a potential sulphide ion reagent. On the micro scale this mode of separation has been extended to include with the more usual cations the elements tungsten, titanium, molybdenum and zirconium.
