    Description / Table of Contents: The polarographic behaviour of the anions nitrosodicyanmethanide and nitrodicyanmethanide is described. Contrary to the homologous oxoanions nitrite and nitrate the dicyanmethanidooxoanions are reduced, hydroxylamine being formed as an intermediate product, The results are discussed, assuming an influence of the asymmetric structure of the anions.
    Notes: Das polarographische Verhalten des als Nitritanalogon zu betrachtenden Nitrosodicyanmethanidions und des Nitratanalogons Nitrodicyanmethanid wird beschrieben. Infolge ihres asymmetrischen Baues werden die Dicyanmethanido-oxoanionen reduziert. Als Zwischenprodukt bildet sich Hydroxylamin.

    Description / Table of Contents: A report is given on the polarographic behaviour of some phosphines arsines, and their oxides, sulphides and phosphinselenides.
    Notes: Tertiäre Phosphine und Arsine mit aromatischen Resten sind im Gegensatz zu den aliphatischen Vertretern polarographisch reduzierbar. Im primären Reaktionsschritt entstehen Radikalanionen, die entweder sofort in Kohlenstoffradikale und Phosphid- bzw. Arsidanionen zerfallen oder reduktiv gespalten werden. Analog verhalten sich die meisten tert. Phosphinoxide und -sulfide. Tertiäre Phosphinselenide werden irreversibel zu tert. Phosphinen reduziert.

    Description / Table of Contents: The cathodic reduction of cobalt salts in presence of butadiene gives linear oligomers. The oligomerisation is probably independent of the nature of the reducing agent. The presence of phosphines and phosphites in electrolysis of cobalt-tris-acetylacetonate/butadiene mixtures mostly prevent linear dimerisation of butadiene.
    Notes: Die kathodische Reduktion von Kobaltsalzen in Gegenwart von Butadien führt zu linearen Dimeren. Der Oligomerisierungsverlauf ist offensichtlich unabhängig von der Natur des Reduktionsmittels. Die Anwesenheit von Phosphinen und Phosphiten bei der Elektrolyse von Kobalt-tris-acetylacetonat in Butadiengemischen führt weitgehend zur Unterdrückung der linearen Dimerisierung von Butadien.

    Description / Table of Contents: The electrochemical reduction of dialkylthallium(III) cations in aqueus buffer solutions and dimethylformamide yields by the first electron transfer the instable intermediate {R2Tl}, which in dependence of the reaction conditions is electrochemical reduced to Tl° or disproportionates to R3Tl and Tl°. Phenyl-substituted organothallium compounds are reduced to Tl° and (C6H5)2Hg in one step.
    Notes: Die elektrochemische Reduktion von Dialkylthallium(III)-Kationen in wäßrigen Puffersystemen und Dimethylformamid führt im Primärschritt zu {R2Tl}, das in Abhängigkeit von den Reaktionsbedingungen entweder elektrochemisch zu Tl° reduziert werden kann oder zu R3Tl und Tl° disproportioniert. Phenyl-substituierte Organothalliumverbindungen werden in DMF in einer Stufe zu Tl° und Diphenylquecksilber reduziert.
