The crystal structure of nickel selenate-hexahydrate was refined from X-ray single crystal measurements. The structure is tetragonal, space groupe either P41212 or P4212, with four molecules in the cell with a = b = 6.926 Å, c = 18.414 Å. The distances selenium-oxygen within the tetrahedra are 1.66 Å and 1.64 Å. The bonds within the SeO4 tetrahedra are discussed.

Die Kristallstruktur des Nickelselenat-hexahydrats wurde aus Intensitätsmessungen eines Einkristalls verfeinert. Die Struktur ist tetragonal, die Raum-gruppe ist entweder P41212 oder P43212, mit vier Molekülen in der Elementarzelle mit a = b = 6,926 Å, c = 18,414 Å. Die Selen - Sauerstoff-Abstände im Tetraeder betragen 1,66 und 1,64 Å. Die Bindungsverhältnisse im SeO4-Tetraeder werden diskutiert.
