    Notes: Poly(acrylonitrile) was modified to give products of the form below via reaction with hydroxylamine and subsequently with group IV organometallic reactants: The products obtained with Cl2MR2 are crosslinked. Properties of the new polymers are briefly characterized.

    Description / Table of Contents: Die Modifizierung von Polyacrylnitril wurde durch Bildung von Polyacrylamidoxim und nachfolgende Kondensation mit Ti-, Zr- und Hf-Verbindungen durch Anwendung der Grenzflächentechnik erzielt.Die thermischen Eigenschaften dieser Produkte werden angegeben. Der anfänglich bei 200 bis 350 °C erfolgende Abbau verläuft wahrscheinlich über cyclische Produkte, während der Abbau oberhalb 500°C in Luft durch Oxydation des verbliebenen Produktes erfolgt.
    Notes: The modification of poly(acrylonitrile) was effected via formation of poly(acrylamideoxime) followed by condensation with Ti, Zr and Hf compounds. Modification was effected utilizing generally the interfacial technique.Thermal properties are reported. Initial degradation in the 200 to 350°C region probably occurs via the formation of cyclic products whereas at temperatures 〉500°C degradation in air occurs via oxidation of the remaining product.

Dabei kam ein modifiziertes wasserfreies Lösungsmittelsystem aus Acetonitril und Kohlenwasserstoffen zur Anwendung.Die Produkte haben nur niedrige Molekulargewichte. Eine Zuordnung der IR-Banden wird gegeben.
    Notes: Polymers of the form below were prepared by the interfacial method via the condensation of silanes with hydrazines employing a modified nonaqueous system using acetonitrile and liquid hydrocarbons. IR frequency band assignments are given. The products are oligomeric.

    Description / Table of Contents: Electric properties of suspension chlorinated polyethylenes (chlorine content about 73%) are investigated at the frequency of 5 MHz, within the temperature range from 20 to 80°C. The observed relaxations are dependent on the chemical structure of the polymer.In addition, dynamic mechanical properties are studied within a temperature range of -100 to +190°C. No parallelism is noticed between electrical and mechanical properties for this rigid-chain polymer.
    Notes: Les propriétés électriques de polyéthylènes chlorés en suspension (taux de chlore, 73% environ) ont été étudiées à la fréquence de 5 MHz dans une gamme de température de 20 à 80°C. Les relaxations observées varient avec la structure chimique du polymère.Les propriétés mécaniques dynamiques ont été étudiées en basse fréquence dans une gamme de température de -100 à +190°C. On n'observe pas de parallélisme entre propriétés électriques et mécaniques pour ces polymères dont les chaînes sont très rigides.

    Notes: The synthesis of phosphorus-containing poly-O-acylamideoximes from polyacrylonitrile has been accomplished by the reaction sequence: Reaction is believed to occur at the NH2 nitrogen as well as at the oxime group, but reaction is not believed to occur at both groups in the amide oxime unit. Inclusion of the phosphorus moiety occurs in the medium to high range.
