    Description / Table of Contents: The Crystal Structure of the Dimeric (Isopropylidenamino)dimethylgallaneDimeric (isopropylidenamino)dimethylgallane crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1¯ with one dimeric molecule per unit cell. The monomeric units were combined to a Ga-N-four-membered ring, including the center of symmetry. The mean distances are: Ga—N 1.989, Ga—C 1.966, N=C 1.266, C—C 1.504 Å.
    Notes: Dimeres (Isopropylidenamino)dimethylgallan kristallisiert in der triklinen Raumgruppe P1¯ mit einem dimeren Molekül in der Elementarzelle. Dabei sind die monomeren Einheiten über das Symmetriezentrum zu einem Ga-N-Vierring verbunden. Die mittleren Bindungslängen sind: Ga—N 1.989, Ga—C 1.966, N=C 1.266, C—C 1.504 Å.

    Description / Table of Contents: Structure Determination of Boron Nitrogen Compounds, VI. The Crystal and Molecular Structure of Dichloro(diphenylamino)boraneDichloro(diphenylamino)borane crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21 with a = 13.84, b = 7.77, c = 5.86 Å, β = 102.45° and two molecules per unit cell. The molecule was found to have a nearly planar Cl2BNC2-skeleton, whereas the phenyl groups are strongly tilted out of this plane. The B—N distance of 1.380 Å suggests that the boron and nitrogen atoms are linked by a double bond.
    Notes: Dichlor(diphenylamino)boran kristallisiert in der monoklinen Raumgruppe P21 mit a = 13.84, b = 7.77, c = 5.86 Å, β = 102.45° und 2 Molekülen in der Elementarzelle. Das Molekül zeigt ein nahezu planares Cl2BNC2-Gerüst, während die Phenylgruppen sehr stark aus dieser Ebene herausgedreht sind. Der B—N-Abstand mit 1.380 Å läßt auf eine Bor-Stickstoff-Doppelbindung schließen.

    Description / Table of Contents: Materials Stressing at Oscillating Sliding MovementAt oscillating sliding movements in a tribological system (e.g. pistonring - cylinder) the filmthickness changes in a wide range during a stroke. Especially in the range of the deadcenters a hydrodynamic lubricant film cannot always be formed. The mixed lubrication than leads to an increasing material stressing in these regions. the change in sliding direction causes a repeated change in the direction of the materials stressing. The materials stressing is calculated for different load functions.
    Notes: Bei oszillierendem Bewegungsablauf in einem tribologischen System (z. B. Kolbenring- Zylinder) ändert sich die Schmierfilmhöhe über dem Hub in weiten Bereichen. Insbesondere durch die Bewegungsverhältnisse im Bereich der Totpunkte kann sich dort vielfach keit hydrodynamischer Schmierfilm ausbilden. Der dadurch bedingte Mischreibungszustand führt zu einer erhöhten Werkstoffbeanspruchung in den Totpunktbereichen. Die ständige änderung der Bewegungsrichtung hat zudem einen fortwährenden Wechsel der Beanspruchungsrichtung zur Folge. Die Werkstofanstrengung wird für verschiedene Lastannahmen ermittelt.

Besides their physical effect the different fluorocarbons have an effect on the tribological behavior of the different machine parts.
    Notes: Halogenierte Kohlenwasserstoffe werden als Arbeitsstoffe in Kältemaschinen eingesetzt. Durch die konstruktiven Gegebenheiten - insbesondere bei kleinen und mittleren Verdichtern - haben Halogen-Kohlenwasserstoff, Schmierstoff und Werkstoffe Kontakt miteinander. Halogen-Kohlenwasserstoffe können sich im Schmierstoff lösen und erniedrigen dadurch die Viskosität des Schmierstoffs. Darüber hinaus können zwischen dem Schmierstoff, dem Halogen-Kohlenwasserstoff und den Werkstoffen des Kältemittelverdichters, die mit ihnen in Berührung stehen, chemische Reaktionen ablaufen, die z. B. das Verschleißverhalten tribologisch beanspruchter Bauteilpaarungen erheblich beeinflussen.

    Description / Table of Contents: Electrochemical Rearrangement of Papaverine and Dimerisation to 12,12′-Bis{2,3,9,10-tetramethoxy-indolo [2,1-a]isoquinolinyl}Preparative anodic oxydation of papaverine [6,7-dimethoxy-1-(3,4-dimethoxybenzyl)isoquinoline] in methanol with the aid of Pt-electrodes yields 12,12′-bis{2,3,9,10-tetramethoxyindolo[2,1-a]isoquinolinyl}.During this process 3 H-atoms are lost per mole papaverine. At first the benzyl-isoquinolinestructure rearranges to 2,3,9,10-tetramethoxy-indolo [2,1-a]isoquinoline, which dimerises by C—C-bonding in position 12. Voltammetric measurements were carried out. 13C-n.m r.-spectroscopic results demonstrate steric hindrance of the two molecule-moieties.
    Notes: Die präparative anodische Oxydation von Papaverin [6,7-Dimethoxy-1-(3,4-dimethoxy-benzyl)isochinolin] in Methanol an Platinanoden führt unter Verlust von 3 Wasserstoffatomen pro Mol zu 12,12′-Bis{2,3,9,10-tetramethoxy-indolo[2,1-a]isochinolinyl}. Hierbei lagert sich die Benzyl-isochinolinstruktur unter Abgabe von 2 H-Atomen zu 2,3,9,10-Tetramethoxy-indolo[2,1-a]isochinolin um, das durch weiteren Verlust je eines Protons und Elektrons am C-Atom 12 dimerisiert. Es wird über voltammetrische Ergebnisse berichtet. 13C-NMR-spektroskopische Messungen weisen auf eine beträchtliche Verdrillung beider Molekülhälften hin.
