    Description / Table of Contents: New Derivatives of the —OSeF5 and —OTeF5 GroupsThe compounds O2N—OSeF5, OPF2—OSeF5, As(OSeF5)3, and Sb(OTeF5)3 are described and their structures are discussed. By fluorination of As(OTeF5)3 the new oxide fluoride of tellurium, trans-F2Te(OTeF5)4, was obtained.
    Notes: Die Verbindungen O2N—OSeF5, OPF2—OSeF5, As(OSeF5)3 und Sb(OTeF5)3 werden beschrieben und ihre Struktur erläutert. Ausgehend vom As(OTeF5)3 gelang durch Fluorierung die Herstellung eines neuen wohldefinierten Oxidfluorids des Tellurs: trans-F2Te(OTeF5)4.

    Description / Table of Contents: Transition Metal PentafluoroorthochalcogenatesPreparation and properties of some transition metal pentafluoroorthoselenates and -tellurates (1-4) are described. The transition metals always have their highest valency state: TiIV, VV, CrVI, WVi. For the first time a molecule containing five pentafluoroorthochalcogene groups attached to a central atom was made: WCl(OTeF5)5.
    Notes: Darstellung und Eigenschaften einiger Übergangsmetall-pentafluoroorthoselenate und -tellurate (1-4) werden beschrieben. Die Übergangsmetalle liegen stets in den höchsten Wertigkeiten vor: TiIV, VV, CrVI, WVI. Erstmals gelingt die Einführung von fünf Pentafluoroorthochalcogen-Gruppen an ein Zentralatom in der Verbindung WCl(OTeF5)5.

    Description / Table of Contents: Covalent Compounds of Uranium of the Type FxU(OTe5)6-xPure U(OTeF5)6 is prepared. It is volatile in spite of the molecular weight of 1669 mass units and seems to be the inorganic nonpolymeric molecule with the highest molecular weight known. all compounds FxU(OTeF5)6-x have been detected by the n.m. r. method.
    Notes: Reines U(OTeF5)6 wurde dargestellt und ist leicht flüchtig, trotz der meines Wissens höchsten Molmasse (1669) für eine anorganisch nichtpolymere Verbindung. Darüber hinaus wurden alle Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel FxU(OTeF5)6-x nachgewiesen.

    Description / Table of Contents: Methylsulfurpentafluoride and Some of its DerivativesMethylsulfurpentafluoride (5) was systematically synthesized, starting with SF5Cl and ketene. It is stable at room temperature against HF elimination. The reaction of SF5Cl and diketene gives compounds of the type SF5—CH2—X, but the title compound is not produced in this way.
    Notes: Methylschwefelpentafluorid (5) wurde systematisch synthetisiert, ausgehend von SF5Cl und Keten. Es ist bei Raumtemperatur stabil gegen HF-Eliminierung. Die Reaktion von SF5Cl und Diketen führt zu einer Vielzahl anderer Verbindungen des Typs SF5—CH2—X, in einfacher Weise jedoch nicht zur Titelverbindung.
