    Description / Table of Contents: By mechanical, calorimetric and dielectric methods the relaxation processes in the glass transition region of poly-(ethylene terephthalate) were investigated. Based on the results obtained the WLF parameters of the amorphous initial material and the apparent activation energy at different temperatures were determined. The effect of different degrees of crystallization, established by termination of the isothermal crystallization at 105°C, on the glass transition temperature are discussed.
    Notes: Mit mechanischen, kalorimetrischen und dielektrischen Meßmethoden werden Relaxationsprozesse beim Glasübergang des Polyethylenterephthalats untersucht. Anhand der Meßergebnisse werden die WLF-Parameter für das amorphe Ausgangsmaterial ermittelt und scheinbare Aktivierungsenergien für verschiedene Temperaturen angegeben. Der Einfluß unterschiedlicher Kristallinitätsgrade, die durch Abbruch isothermer Kristallisation bei 105°C erzielt wurden, auf die Glastemperatur wird diskutiert.
