    Notes: Abstract In the nearly unknown class of cyclosilanes with one heteroatom, decaphenyl-oxa-cyclohexasilane was prepared for the first time by removing of water. The diol was prepared by hydrolysis of the corresponding 1,5-dichlorocompound. Cyclisation was not successful with 1,5-Di(ethylamine)decaphenylpentasilane, which was prepared also for the first time. Spectroscopic data were determined of all synthesized compounds.
