Description / Table of Contents:
Notes:
Phase behaviour of poly(vinyl chloride)/poly(methyl methacrylate) and poly(vinyl chloride)/poly(butyl methacrylate) blends prepared from solution was investigated using differential scanning calorimetry. Indications for compatibility were found only at small concentrations of the second component. Stereospecific association seems to be very important for such systems. Glass transition and melting behaviour is also influenced by the preparation method.
