Asymptotic study of the macroscopie behaviour of a fluid-thermoelastic solid mixture. The homogenization theory is applied to the study of small perturbations in a mixture of a thermoelastic solid and a viscous compressible fluid. There appear memory phenomena in the bulk behaviour as well as a modification in the initial data regarding the original problem. The convergence of the formal asymptotic expansion to the solution of the homogenized equations is proved.
