Notes:
Starting from the expressions of the Generalized Lorenz Mie Theory (GLMT), this paper first presents numerical results for the specific gn coefficients involved in Gaussian beam scattering theory. These results are computed in the special case where on-axis scatterers are considered. The localized interpretation of the gn coefficients is then developped and discussed, leading to significant simplifications of the numerical computations. Finally, this localized interpretation is used for comparisons of the Generalized Lorenz Mie Theory with other experimental and theoretical data.
