    Description / Table of Contents: For a polymer system sulfur-styrene containing 10 wt.-% styrene the morphologie depending on the polymerization temperature and time is described. Besides the characteristical orthorhombic phase a monoclinic and a pseudoorthorhombic phase were detected. Moreover amorphous material exists, depending on the polymerisation parameters.
    Notes: Für ein Polymersystem Schwefel-Styrol mit 10% Styrol wird die Abhängigkeit der Morphologie von der Polymerisationstemperatur und -zeit beschrieben. Neben der charakteristischen orthorhombischen Phase wurden röntgenographisch eine monokline und eine pseudoorthorhombische Phase nachgewiesen. Außerdem liegt, abhängig von den Polymerisationsparametern, ein amorpher Anteil vor.

    Description / Table of Contents: The enthalpy retardation in PVC is directly measured as heat production during the annealing time using a gas flow calorimeter (GSK) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) (temperature range 333 to 357 K, time intervals 1 min to 250 h). Thermal glass temperatures and glass transition intervals are measured at cooling rates ranging from 0.001 to 64 K/min. The results are compared with calculated data. Deviations are discussed with respect to crystallization and physical aging.
    Notes: Mit einem Gasströmungskalorimeter und der differentiellen Scanning-Kalorimetrie (DSC) wird die Enthalpieretardation in PVC direkt als Wärmeproduktion beim Tempern gemessen (Temperaturbereich 333 bis 357 K, Zeitbereich 1 min bis 250 h). Außerdem wird der thermische Glasübergang für Kühlgeschwindigkeiten im Bereich 0,001 bis 64 K/min gemessen. Die Meßergebnisse werden mit berechneten Werten verglichen. Auftretende Abweichungen werden diskutiert.
