Zusammenfassung Wir entwickeln hinreichende Bedingungen, die garantieren, daß eine Punktmenge eindeutige Lagrange-Interpolation mit quadratischen Splines auf einer Typ 2—Triangulierung erlaubt. Die Interpolationseigenschaft dieser Mengen wird gezeigt, indem ein bivariates Problem auf eine endliche Folge univariater Probleme reduziert wird.

Abstract We give sufficient conditions which guarantee that a set of points admits unique Lagrange interpolation by quadratic splines on a four-directional mesh. The poisedness of these sets will be proved by reducing one bivariate problem to a finite sequence of univariate problems.
