Zusammenfassung Zur quantitativen Auswertung densitometrischer Messungen sind in der Literatur verschiedene, auf einem linearen Zusammenhang zwischen Konzentration und Meßgrößen beruhende Verfahren beschrieben worden. Die Limitierungen solcher Ansätze werden mittels statistischer Methoden aufgezeigt und sowohl Vorteile wie Anwendung eines quadratisch-logarithmischen Ansatzes demonstriert.

Summary Various methods for quantitative evaluation of thin-layer chromatograms based on a linear relationship between concentration and test-data have been described in the literature. The limitations of these approaches are shown by means of statistical methods and the advantages as well as applications of a quadratic-logarithmic approach are demonstrated.
