Mukhin The synergetic use of macroscopic magnetization, electric polarization, and single-crystal neutron diffraction techniques allows the tracking of the evolution of the magnetic structures (in magnetic fields up to 60 T) of the multiferroic Mn 0 . 80 Co 0 . 20 WO 4 , which has an antiferromagnetic conical ground state. The complete magnetoelectric phase diagrams for the three distinct magnetic directions (the easy and the hard magnetic directions and the b crystallographic axis) are constructed. Marked differences are found in the topologies between the phase diagrams, which might be common for other magnetic materials possessing conical antiferromagnetic structures. [Phys. Rev.
