Article Immunosuppression has been unsuccessful in treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. Here the authors show in a mouse model of the disease that transient inhibition of regulatory T cells mitigates amyloid plaque pathology and reverses cognitive decline, whereas augmenting these cells worsens the pathology.
