Description:
The relationship between the actin-activated adenosinetriphosphatase activity of smooth muscle myosin and the extent of myosin light chain phosphorylation is nonlinear. It is suggested that the phosphorylation of the two heads of smooth muscle myosin is an ordered process and that the two heads are influenced by cooperative interactions.〈br /〉〈span class="detail_caption"〉Notes: 〈/span〉Persechini, A -- Hartshorne, D J -- HL 23615/HL/NHLBI NIH HHS/ -- New York, N.Y. -- Science. 1981 Sep 18;213(4514):1383-5.〈br /〉〈span class="detail_caption"〉Record origin:〈/span〉 〈a href="http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6455737" target="_blank"〉PubMed〈/a〉
