19F-NMR Investigations on Pertrifluoroacetyl Methyl GlycosidesTrifluoroacetylated methyl glycosides and their anomers 1-8 characteristically differ in their 19F-NMR-spectra (fig. 1, table 1). Therefore trifluoroacetylation followed by 19F-NMR measurements provides a simple and definite identification of glycosides. The different signals can be assigned to their corresponding trifluoroacetyl groups (table 1).

Die 19F-NMR-Spektren der trifluoracetylierten α- und β-Methylglykoside 1-8 unterscheiden sich so charakteristisch (Abb. 1), daß sich die Trifluoracetylierung mit nachfolgender 19F-NMR-Messung zur schnellen und eindeutigen Identifizierung von Glykosiden eignet. Die einzelnen Signale können den entsprechenden Trifluoracetyl-Gruppen zugeordnet werden (Tab. 1).
