Abstract An electronic circuit is described which automatically rezeroes a physiologic signal whenever it reaches the limit of a display. This modified signal can be used for polygraph monitoring while the raw signal is processed by a wide-range high-resolution a.d. convertor. The device is currently used in conjunction with the barometric method for measuring tidal volume, but should find general use in plethysmography.
