Notes:
Summary Osseous grafts were removed from the skull of rabbits and implanted into the mucles of the same rabbit. From one to twenty-one days after the operation, dosages of calcium and phosphorus were performed. The following results were found: (1) At the beginning, the grafts undergo necrosis and resorption. (2) Chemical analysis did not completely solve the problems of osteolysis and oncosis. (3) In most cases the graft is dissolved. (4) A difference in the chemical constitution between cortical and cancellous bone was shown.
