Notes:
Summary Diabetes resulting from treating animals with dialuric acid differs from that obtained by treating with alloxan. In rats fed with a casein-yeast-diet, sugar-excretion and urine volume are decreased in alloxan-diabetes, whereas in dialuric acid diabetes sugar-excretion is stopped completely but polyuria persists.
