Zusammenfassung Antimonspuren wurden unter Anwendung einer Quecksilbertropfelektrode bestimmt. Die Notwendigkeit der vorhergehenden Oxydation der Probe, um reproduzierbare Kurven zu erhalten, und der nachfolgenden Reduktion wurde erklärt. Die polarographischen Messungen wurden in 1M Salzsäure durchgeführt, um eine klare Trennung der Peaks von Sb und Bi zu erzielen. Der Einfluß einiger organischer und anorganischer Kolloide wurde angegeben.

Summary Alternating current anodic stripping voltammetry with a hanging mercury drop electrode was applied to the determination of trace antimony in natural waters. The necessity for preliminary oxidation of the sample to obtain reproducible curves and for a subsequent reduction is explained. Polarographic measurements are carried out in 1 M HCl medium to ensure a sufficient separation between the peaks of Sb and Bi. The influence of some organic and inorganic colloids is given.
