Epoxidharze aus Bisphenol A wurden mit neuen Diphenolen, die Imidgruppen enthalten, modifiziert, um die thermischen Eigenschaften zu verbessern. Die verwendeten Diimiddiphenole wurden aus Dianhydriden und Aminophenolen durch Kondensation hergestellt. Die Diimiddiphenole und die modifizierten Harze wurden durch IR- und NMR-spektroskopische Messungen charakterisiert. Das thermische Verhalten wurde anhand von DSC- und TGA-Messungen untersucht.

Epoxy resins derived from Bisphenol A have been modified with new diphenols containing imide moieties in order to improve their thermal properties. The diphenols have been synthesized from dianhydrides and aminophenols by condensation reactions. Diphenols as well as modified resins have been characterized by IR and NMR spectroscopy. The thermal characteristics were evaluated by DSC and TGA.
