Description / Table of Contents: The solubilities of silver halides and the formation of complexes in the systems AgX—AgF—H2O (X = Cl, Br, J) are similar to those in the systems AgX—AgNO3—H2O; the same argentohalogen cations are formed. The complexes [Ag2J]F and [Ag2Br]F have been isolated. [Ag2J]F crystallizes in a monoclinic lattice (a = 4,72 Å, b = 7,66 Å, c = 6,36 Å, β = 86,5°) containing two molecules per unit cell.
