This volume illustrates the research, teaching and third mission experiences undertaken by the University of Cagliari in the field of preservation, redevelopment and enhancement of historic military heritage with particular regard to the activities carried out within the institutional framework of the collaboration agreement signed with the Ministry of Defense in 2018. The studies, conducted on a wide and heterogeneous heritage, introduce and exemplify some of the many strands of research that the series intends to accommodate, opening towards interdisciplinary comparison and collaboration with other scientific communities involved nationally in similar research contexts.

Il volume illustra le esperienze di ricerca, didattica e terza missione avviate dall'Università degli Studi di Cagliari nell'ambito della conservazione, riqualificazione e valorizzazione del patrimonio militare storico con particolare riguardo alle attività svolte nel quadro istituzionale dell'accordo di collaborazione sottoscritto con il Ministero della Difesa nel 2018. Gli studi, condotti su un patrimonio ampio ed eterogeneo, introducono ed esemplificano alcuni tra i molti filoni di ricerca che la collana intende accogliere, aprendo verso il confronto interdisciplinare e la collaborazione con le altre comunità scientifiche coinvolte in ambito nazionale in analoghi contesti di ricerca.
