    Description: Looking from a historical perspective, financial activities contain many crises in itself. This situation seems to be a feature inherent in the existing economic system and as long as this system continues, it becomes inevitable being faced with the crisis. Especially in recent years, with the increasing globalization, the risk of being faced with a crisis has also increased. In the financial markets, savers who wish to evaluate the accumulation by investing in different investment tools may encounter some difficulties in the face of a variety of financial products and in times of crisis. Mutual funds consist of investment tools which have increasing importance in the capital market and give professional management services to savers in accordance with certain principles. Especially in recent years, mutual funds market is rapidly evolving in Turkey, as well as in the international market. Due to these developments, consideration of growing number of investors and growing portfolios of mutual funds emerges as a necessity. The purpose of this study is to compare the performances of type A mutual funds in Turkey for the period before and after the 2008 crisis. The pre-crisis period have been determined as 2005-2007 and the post-crisis period as 2009-2011. Within the scope of application, there are 74 mutual funds of type A, which continuously operated between January 2005 - December 2007 and January 2009 - December 2011, not joined with another fund, not taken over by another fund, not being in liquidation and having complete data. These mutual funds were analyzed by using performance measurement methods.

    Description: Regulation of Hygiene Education has been published in compliance with the EU acquis on July 5, 2013 and has become valid on July 5, 2014. This study was conducted to determine the effect of local governments on increasing awareness and to increase the level of awareness as a result of the application of the trainings in Goynuk and Gudul in accordance with the regulations. During this study; questions have been asked by survey techniques and the responses have been analyzed by Student's t-test. In the study, it was observed that awareness of employees and employers was increased when the training was completed; whereas the level of awareness of the employees and employers not receiving training were quite low. It was understood that awareness is developed according to the importance given by the local authorities having audit liability.

    Description: This study is for the faculties of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Communication, Tourism, Theology and Literature based on Gumushane University, and for instructors who take charge in the units based on Rectorship. As a result of this study, the effect of academic staff and employee satisfaction when compared to employee performance have been researched and documented. In this context, the effects of internal and external satisfaction to employee performance that are two subdimensions of employee performance, also have been studied to be implemented. Also, the activity of wages policy which to please academic staff, has been evaluated in the recent period. In conclusion, employee satisfaction of attenders partly affects employee performances. Moreover, it has been detected that the external satisfaction levels of attenders positively affected performance senses. This result has shown that the applied wages policy was interpreted as an useful policy for them in the recent period. In addition to this, the evidence has been reached that the internal satisfaction levels of academic staff negatively affected academic job performance.
