    Description: The 12th Slavic Linguistics Society Annual Meeting organised by the Fran Ramovš Institute of the Slovenian Language (Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts), Department of Slavistics, Department of Slovenian Studies and the Department of Comparative and General Linguistics (Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana) held in Ljubljana between 21 and 24 September 2017 hosted a remarkable 100-odd Slavicists from Northern America, Europe, Russia, South Korea and Japan.     Description: Publikacija je zbornik povzetkov prispevkov 12. letnega srečanja Združenja za slovansko jezikoslovje (Slavic Linguistics Society) (Ljubljana, 21.–24. september 2017, v organizaciji Inštituta za slovenski jezik Frana Ramovša Znanstvenoraziskovalnega centra Slovenske akademije znanosti in umetnosti ter Oddelka za slavistiko, Oddelka za slovenistiko in Oddelka za primerjalno in splošno jezikoslovje Filozofske fakultete Univerze v Ljubljani). Zbornik vsebuje okrog 100 prispevkov, katerih avtorji so jezikoslovci iz Severne Amerike, Evrope, Rusije, Južne Koreje in Japonske, ki se ukvarjajo z znanstvenim preučevanjem slovanskih jezikov. V prispevkih so v duhu omogočanja enakih možnosti vsem in ohranjanja metodološkega pluralizma v znanosti zastopane različne jezikoslovne poddiscipline, teoretični modeli in metodološki pristopi, saj je glavni namen delovanja združevanja prav vzpostavljanje tvornega dialoga med njimi.

    Description: Поэзия – это творческое исследование семиотических возможностей языка и поле функционирования сложных нетривиальных смыслов. В основе смыслопорождения в герметичном поэтическом дискурсе лежат процессы подвижного семиозиса, в котором отношения стабильности между означающим и означаемым поставлены под вопрос, а сила тяжести перемещена на интерпретанту, и смысловой энтропии как интенсивного приращения смысла с невозможностью сформулировать его конечное состояние. В книге на материале текстов на немецком и русском языках рассматриваются разнообразные проявления поэтического герметизма в актуальной поэзии, а также семантико-синтаксические механизмы и прагматический потенциал смысловой неопределенности – от неуловимого намека и неразрешимой двусмысленности до нонсенса и тайнописи.

    Description: В монографии демонстрируется возможность изучать современный поэтический язык не только с точки зрения эстетической функции, но и креативной, воздействие которой предполагает создание новых форм и неожиданных сочетаний при передаче разнообразной текстовой информации. Для исследования выбран поуровневый метод описания. На иллюстративных примерах показывается, как креативность проявляет себя на разных уровнях организации текста: фонетико-орфографическом, словообразовательном, лексико-семантическом, грамматическом – и как уровни взаимодействуют друг с другом. На уровне же целого текста важными параметрами становятся субъектная организация и взаимодействие текста с другими текстами.

This volume consists of three parts. The first part contains papers of the National Committee of Estonian Slavicists for the 15th International Congress of Slavicists in Minsk, Belarus, focusing on current problems in Slavic linguistics. Papers in the second and third part of the volume are dedicated to Slavic lexicology and lexicography, and the problems of Slavic syntax and translation studies, respectively. Papers are published in Russian, Czech, Polish, Slovenian, and Yugoslav-Rusyn.

    Chapter Vladivostok as a Meeting Point between West and East at the Beginning of the 20th Century (Around Years of Siberian Investigation) (2024)

    Description: Vladivostok is likened to the Bosphorus. The remoteness of the Far East made it difficult for the European part of the Russian Empire to recognise Vladivostok geographically. Therefore, through analogy to the Mediterranean, it was consciously integrated into the state. On the other hand, by using kanji combinations, which evoke images of traditional Japanese poetry, the Japanese created a sense of familiarity with Vladivostok. In most cases, regarding the social situation during the Revolutionary and Intervention War periods, researchers’ interest was restricted to the scheme of the conflict between the Red Army and the White Army and the victory or defeat of the October Revolution. However, more than 30 years after the dissolution of the USSR, the events of this period are now being examined by scholars mainly from the perspective of the residents and outsiders in various regions who, without knowing the consequences of the revolution, were both anticipating and anxious about significant social changes. The multicultural nature of the Far East is being discussed on the occasion of the centenary of the Siberian exodus. This article examines the cultural situation in and around Vladivostok, focusing on developments such as the education system and modernist currents in the arts. Vladivostok served as both an entrance to Siberia for the Japanese or other foreign troops and an exit for emigres.

    Description: Acta Slavica Estonica is an international series of publications on current issues of Russian and other Slavic languages, literatures and cultures. The volume „Anthropocentrism in language and speech” was prepared in memory of Mikhail Shelyakin (1927–2011), a long-time professor of the Russian language at the University of Tartu. The relation between language and the human being was M. Shelyakin’s central topic during the final period of his research. The articles focus on anthropocentrism of the linguistic sign and its realization in speech. They continue and develop the problems studied by M. Shelyakin mainly on the basis of Russian. The volume consists of three parts: anthropocentrism in word-formation and grammar, anthropocentrism in phraseology and the lexical system, and the impact of anthropocentrism on contrastive studies, translation, and the teaching of foreign languages.

    Description: In the second half of the 17th century, the translators of the Russian ambassadorial office had to translate a large number of books. Among them, the equestrian books by Antoine de Pluvinel from the 1620s stand out: Maneige Royal and L'Instruction du Roy / Reitkunst. Ingrid Maier focuses on the Russian translation of L'Instruction du Roy / Reitkunst from 1677, but the history of this edition is inseparable from that of Maneige Royal. The author compares selected fragments of the translations. Even this first selective analysis leads to surprising insights into translation techniques and the translators' interventions in the texts.

    Description: Die vorliegende Arbeit hat das Ziel, Prinzipien des Aufbaus des Gramatično izkazanje herauszuarbeiten und diese mit den Prinzipien des Aufbaus der kirchenslavischen Grammatik von Meletij Smotryckyj zu vergleichen. Die Zielsetzung bedingt weiterhin, daß zunächst der Versuch unternommen wird zu klären, welche der zwei in Frage kommenden Ausgaben der Grammatik Smotryćkyjs, nämlich entweder die Erstausgabe von Jevje oder die Ausgabe von Moskau, die sich in einigen Punkten von der Jevjeer Ausgabe unterscheidet, Križanić in Sibirien zur Verfügung hatte. Die anschließende Analyse des Aufbaus des Gramatično izkazanje erfolgt in zwei Teilen. Zunächst wird die Anordnung der verschiedenen Teile der Grammatik (Phonetik, Syntax, Redeteile) bei Križanić betrachtet und anschließend der Aufbau der Teile selbst analysiert.

    Description: Ukrainian motifs in A. S. Makarenko’s Pedagogical Poem. Makarenko’s Pedagogical Poem in the Stalin era was perceived as a eulogy to the collective, while in late Soviet times the dominance of the collective and the tendency to violent solutions already irritated the Russian reader. The German historian Goetz Hillig saw Makarenko as a world pedagogical genius, created his scientific biography, and published a scholarly edition of his writings in German. Elena Tolstaya looks at The Poem, set in post-revolutionary Ukraine, in the aspect of Russian-Ukrainian bilingualism, and looks for possible responses to the actualities of the late 20s – early 30s.

    Description: 〈P〉Das Weismann'sche "Teutsch-Lateinisch-Rußische Lexicon, Samt Denen Anfangs-Gründen der Rußischen Sprache" ist für die Lexikographie der ersten Hälfte des 18. Jh. nach Polikarpovs "Leksikon trejazičnyj, SPb. 1704" eine der wichtigsten Quellen überhaupt. Besonders reich ist das Wörterbuch an phraseologischen und sprichwortartigen Ausdrücken. Von gleicher Bedeutung ist das Werk aufgrund seines Anhangs. Das dortige, anonym verfaßte grammatische Traktat " Anfangs-Gründe der Rußischen Sprache" (48 S.) hat für die Grammatikentwicklung im 18.     Description: Govor sela Vratarnica - odin iz južnoslavjanskich govorov, rasprostranennych vok rug serbsko-bolgarskoj političeskoj granicy. Govory, nachodjaščiesja s zapadnoj (serbskoj) storony etoj granicy, tradicionno v jugoslavskoj dialektologii nazyvajutsja timoksko-lužnickim i i otnosjatsja k serbochorvatskomu jazyku, esli ich nositeli opredeljajut sebja kak etničeskie serby, i k bolgarskom u jazyku, esli ich nositeli sčitajut sebja bolgarami. Govory s bolgarskoj storony granicy polučili v bolgarskoj dialektologii nazvanie "zapadnye perechodnye govory bolgarskogo jazyka" [Stojkov 1962: 108-112]. Nesomnennoe genetičesko e edinstvo etich govorov pozvoljaet rassmatrivat'ich (vopr eki složivšimsja nacional'nym tradicijam) ne izolirovanno drug ot druga, no kak celostnoe lingvističesko e obrazovanie ranga dialekta, prinadležaščee odnovremenno dvum nacional'nym kollektivam.

One of the fundamental oppositions of the semiotics of culture – between “own” (native) and “alien” (foreign) – is also important for the language, which is the foundation of any ethnic culture and in which “our own”, originally inherent in a given language, constituting its basis, and elements of the “alien” at different levels of the language always coexist.     Description: Aleksej Jelissejewitsch Krutschonych (1886 - 1968), einer der wichtigsten russischen Futuristen, wurde während der Sowjetära in Rußland unterdrückt. Erst 1986 gelang es Sergej Suchoparow, anläßlich einer Jubiläumsfeier in Krutschonychs Heimat Cherson eine bio-bibliographische Broschüre herauszubringen. 1991 und 1992 kamen erste Text- Nachdrucke in Moskau heraus. Suchoparow legt nun als hervorragender russischer Krutschonych-Spezialist die erste kleine Monographie über den im Westen stets beachteten Avantgardisten vor.
