    Description: Anhand einer empirischen Fallstudie wird der Konflikt zwischen Spanien und ETA aus einer transnationalen Perspektive betrachtet. Es geht darum zu zeigen, wie das Exil der ETA in Mexiko die politischen Beziehungen zwischen Spanien und Mexiko vom Etablieren des Exils ab 1977 bis zur ersten Auslieferung 2000 bestimmte und welche Rückwirkung das Thema ETA in der Außenpolitik auf den nationalen Konflikt hatte.; This case study looks at the conflict between Spain and ETA from a transnational perspective. It analyzes the exile of ETA members to Mexico as part of the foreign policy between Spain and Mexico, from the beginning of the post Franco exile in 1977 until the first extradition in 2000. In these years ETA was not only a constant topic of the bilateral agenda, but shaped decisively the development of the diplomatic relations and the national conflict itself.

    Description: Wie kooperieren Eltern miteinander, welchen Wert messen sie ihrer Interaktion bei und wie hängt der Grad der Kooperation mit dem sozialen Status und zusammen? Die Studie nimmt die sozialen Beziehungen zwischen verschiedenen Gruppen chinesischer Eltern an einer chinesischen Mandarin-Sprachschule in einer Großstadt in Deutschland unter die Lupe. Mit Hilfe eines ethnographischen Ansatzes wird ein lebendiges Bild der elterlichen sozialen Interaktionen innerhalb und außerhalb des chinesischen Schulumfelds gezeichnet. Die Studie zeigt die Bedeutung sozialer Interaktionen auf und erörtert sie im Zusammenhang mit dem sozioökonomischen Hintergrund ihrer Migrationsverläufe; How do parents cooperate with each other, what value do they attach to their interaction and how is the degree of cooperation related to social status? The study takes a close look at the social relationships among various groups of Chinese parents at a Chinese Mandarin language school in a metropolitan city in Germany. Taking an ethnographic approach, it captures a vivid picture of the parental social interactions in and outside the Chinese school setting. The study reveals the significance of social interactions, discussing it in relation to the parents’ socioeconomic backgrounds and individual migrant trajectories.

Elisa Tessmer untersucht in ihrer Studie, wodurch das didaktisch-pädagogische Handeln der frühpädagogischen Fachkräfte im Kontext einer alltagsintegrierten Sprach(en)bildung bestimmt ist. Dabei wird ein Zusammenhang zwischen professionellem Handeln, pädagogischen Haltungen und institutionellen Rahmenbedingungen hergestellt.
    Description: Multilingual language biographies can be considered normal in Germany. For language education and language support in early childhood education, a professionalization of the specialists is therefore indispensable. In her study, Elisa Tessmer examines how the didactic-pedagogical actions of early childhood educators are determined in the context of language education integrated into everyday life. A connection between professional action, pedagogical attitudes and institutional framework conditions is established.

    Description: Russland sei nach Lateinamerika zurückgekehrt, stellte der damalige Präsident Medwedew 2010 fest. Wie diese Intensivierung der Beziehungen zwischen Russland und drei Ländern Lateinamerikas – Ecuador, Kuba und Brasilien – zustande kam, untersucht die Studie anhand eines multidimensionalen geopolitischen Ansatzes. Basierend auf Erkenntnissen aus der praktischen Politik und akademischen Arbeiten liefert die Autorin eine Definition für das bis dato vage Konzept ‚strategische Partnerschaft‘ und zeichnet mithilfe einer prozessorientierten Methode die Entwicklung dieser Partnerschaften im Zeitraum 1992-2017 nach.; Russia returned to Latin America, former President Medvedev said in 2010. The study uses a multidimensional geopolitical approach to examine how this intensification of relations between Russia and three Latin American countries, Ecuador, Cuba and Brazil, came about. Based on findings from practical politics and academic work, the author provides a definition of the hitherto vague concept of 'strategic partnership' and traces the development of these partnerships in the period 1992-2017 using a process-oriented method.
