    Description: Projet en partage, partage sans projet ou partage comme projet　: quelle est la dimension sociale du projet　? Comment pense-t-on le partage avant le projet, quels acteurs sociaux y participent, quand en sont-ils absents　? C’est sur ces éléments que se penche cet ouvrage qui traite de projets urbains, de catégories d’acteurs, d’implications participatives et d’effets sociaux localisés. Et quels effets ? Effets de sens, effets de pouvoir, effets sociaux et décalages effectifs entre objectifs affichés et réalités sociales parfois tenaces. Au nord comme au sud, pour mettre en œuvre le projet les moyens sont variés, les outils sont divers, de la suggestion à la contrainte, des « bonnes pratiques » aux processus autoritaires. Aucun projet présenté dans les textes de cet ouvrage n’inclut parfaitement la participation à la totalité du processus. Certains l’intègrent à leur méthodologie, avec des résultats plus ou moins effectifs mais des intentions claires, des acteurs identifiés et une temporalité bien définie. D’autres projets qui se présentent comme partagés sont bien moins formalisés, informels voire déguisés et font parfois l’objet de contestations et de contre-propositions. Dans tous les cas, c’est à l’issue du projet de territoire que l’on en mesure réellement la dimension sociale, l’objectif visé par ces projets n’étant pas nécessairement un espace partagé. En présentant des projets de natures différentes et à plusieurs échelles (requalification de l’espace public, amélioration de l’habitat, renouvellement urbain…), les sept chapitres de cet ouvrage abordent ainsi des enjeux variés de mixité sociale et de gentrification, de dé-paupérisation, de préservation de l’entre-soi et d’éviction brutale de certains segments de population.

    Description: In dieser Arbeit wird der Nachweis erbracht, dass es im Rahmen der neoklassischen Theorie nicht möglich ist, grundlegende Probleme der Transformation realsozialistischer Wirtschafssysteme im Hinblick auf Unternehmen zu erkennen. Um diesen Defiziten begegnen zu können, wird der Versuch eines theoretischen Gegenentwurfs unternommen, der vor allem auf dem methodischen Ansatz der Österreichischen Schule fußt. Das Erklärungspotential dieses praxeologisch-eigentumsrechtlichen Theorieansatzes wird am Beispiel der Transformation des Wirtschaftssystems in Russland demonstriert. Es zeigt sich, dass nicht die sogenannte Privatisierung bestehender Unternehmensstrukturen, sondern die ungehinderte Schaffung neuer Unternehmen eine Lösung der Transformationskrise verspricht.

    Description: This book describes struggles of different countries and their development after World War II. It presents a panorama of different ideologies of accelerated development, which dominated the world just before the war and in the next 40 years. The author explains why in the 1970s global and local elites began to turn away from the state, exchanging statism for the belief in the «invisible hand of the market» as a panacea for underdevelopment. He focuses not only on the genesis of underdevelopment, but also on the causes of popularity of economic planning, and the advent of neoliberalism in the discourse of development economics. This book evaluates the power of state as a vehicle of progress and focuses in detail on the Soviet Union, China, Poland, Ghana, Tanzania, and South Korea.

    Description: The book aims to reconstruct and analyze the disputes over the Polish-Jewish past and memory in public debates in Poland between 1985 and 2012, from the discussions about Claude Lanzmann’s Shoah, Jan Błoński’s essay The Poor Poles Look at the Ghetto, Jan Tomasz Gross’ books Neighbours, Fear and Golden Harvest, to the controversies surrounding the premiere of Władysław Pasikowski’s The Aftermath. The analysis includes the course and dynamics of the debates and, most importantly, the panorama of opinions revealed in the process. It embraces the debates held across the entire spectrum of the national press. The selection of press was not limited by the level of circulation or a subjective opinion of their value. The main intention was to reconstruct the widest possible variety of opinions that were revealed during the debates. Broad symbolic elites participated in the debates: people who exercised control over publicly accessible knowledge, legitimacy of beliefs and the content of public discourse.

    The South Tyrol Question, 1866–2010 (2021)

    Description: South Tyrol is a small, mountainous area located in the central Alps. Despite its modest geographical size, it has come to represent a success story in the protection of ethnic minorities in Europe. When Austrian South Tyrol was given to Italy in 1919, about 200,000 German and Ladin speakers became Italian citizens overnight. Despite Italy’s attempts to Italianize the South Tyroleans, especially during the Fascist era from 1922 to 1943, they sought to maintain their traditions and language, culminating in violence in the 1960s. In 1972 South Tyrol finally gained geographical and cultural autonomy from Italy, leading to the ‘regional state’ of 2010. This book, drawing on the latest research in Italian and German, provides a fresh analysis of this dynamic and turbulent period of South Tyrolean and European history. The author provides new insights into the political and cultural evolution of the understanding of the region and the definition of its role within the European framework. In a broader sense, the study also analyses the shift in paradigms from historical nationalism to modern regionalism against the backdrop of European, global, national and local historical developments as well as the shaping of the distinct identities of its multilingual and multi-ethnic population.

    Description: La société moderne a longtemps entretenu un rapport plus serein au passé qu’à l’avenir. Le récit du passé qui s’accumule dans les livres n’est-il pas cette chose inerte destinée à éclairer le présent ? Pourtant, litiges et controverses quant aux « vérités » que l’histoire prétend fonder ébranlent les certitudes. L’une des conséquences de l’impuissance de l’histoire à asseoir ce qui serait une certaine vérité du passé, c’est d’attirer à elle ceux qui voudraient s’y inscrire rétroactivement en invoquant les injustices mémorielles dont ils auraient été victimes. Si l’histoire s’ouvre ainsi à tout venant, c’est que la société elle-même n’est plus certaine de son identité non plus que du parcours qui l’a conduite jusqu’à elle-même. Dans les sociétés contemporaines où s’achève cet éclatement de la référence collective, on observe ainsi l’encombrement des acteurs se précipitant au cœur de l’histoire espérant y inscrire la mémoire de leur propre parcours.

In einer knappen Einleitung beschreibt der Bearbeiter die ökonomische, soziale und politische Situation in Brandenburg und den Ablauf der Ereignisse. Anhand der Dokumente kann der Leser verfolgen, wie die politischen Forderungen nach demokratischen Rechten für alle Staatsbürger in einem Verfassungsstaat verschmolzen mit dem Kampf der städtischen und ländlichen Unterschichten um die Sicherung ihrer Existenzbedingungen.

    Description: Ausgehend von der zunehmenden quantitativen Bedeutung der Auslandsverschuldung des Staates untersucht der Verfasser zunächst, ob eine derartige Verschuldung in der Lage ist, den inländischen Kapitalmarkt zu entlasten und die Zinsbelastung des Staates zu senken. Anschliessend werden die Auswirkungen auf Volkseinkommen, Beschäftigung und Preisniveau im Inland analysiert. Darüber hinaus wird gefragt, inwieweit die Auslandsverschuldung des Staates in der gegenwärtigen bundesdeutschen Situation als zahlungsbilanzpolitisches Instrument eingesetzt werden kann.
