(1,2-Dihaloethylene)tetracarbonyliron Complexes: Preparation, IR- and NMR-SpectraThe tetracarbonyliron complexes of cis- and trans-1-bromo-2-fluoroethylene, cis- and trans-1,2-dichloroethylene, cis- and trans-1,2-dibromoethylene, trans-1-bromo-2-iodoethylene, trans-1,2-diiodoethylene, vinyl bromide and 1,1-dichloroethylene have been prepared by reaction of the corresponding olefins with Fe2(CO)9. According to IR investigation all compounds have trigonal bipyramidal configuration, the olefin occupying an equatorial position. There exists a systematic correspondence of the force and interaction constants, and the symmetry and the donor and acceptor properties of the olefins, which is also reflected in the NMR spectra.

Die Tetracarbonyleisen-Komplexe von cis- und trans-1-Brom-2-fluoräthylen, cis- und trans-1,2-Dichloräthylen, cis- und trans-1,2-Dibromäthylen, trans-1-Brom-2-jodäthylen, trans-1,2-Dijodäthylen, Vinylbromid und 1,1-Dichloräthylen wurden durch Umsetzung der entsprechenden Olefine mit Fe2(CO)9 dargestellt. Sämtliche Verbindungen sind nach IR-Untersuchungen trigonal-bipyramidal konfiguriert, das Olefin besetzt eine äquatoriale Position. Zwischen den Kraft- und Wechselwirkungskonstanten sowie der Symmetrie und den Donor- und Akzeptoreigenschaften der Olefine bestehen systematische Zusammenhänge, die sich auch n den NMR-Spektren ausdrücken.
