    Description: Mito: relato explicativo, simbólico y dinámico, de uno o varios acontecimientos extraordinarios personales con referente trascendente, que carece en principio de testimonio histórico, se compone de una serie de elementos invariantes reducibles a temas y sometidos a crisis, que presenta un carácter conflictivo, emotivo, funcional, ritual y remite siempre a una cosmogonía o a una escatología absolutas, particulares o universales. Esta definición, general, fría e indeterminada, requiere un tiempo, un espacio, y sobre todo una conciencia que la viva. El mito no es un constructo mental ajeno a las vicisitudes socioculturales: lleva marcada en su piel y sus entrañas la huella de cada individuo y sociedad que lo vio nacer; pero también sabe adaptarse a las condiciones del nuevo tiempo que lo acoge. Mitos de hoy narra esa tensión del mito por mantenerse vivo en el terreno, aparentemente inhóspito, de un mundo desengañado. La Mitocrítica Cultural, aquí puesta en práctica, combina las herramientas tradicionales de la mitocrítica con factores no considerados sistemáticamente por la crítica precedente: la globalización, la inmanencia y el consumismo. Ofrece así una modesta contribución a la tarea de identificar, analizar y sintetizar la tipología de las manifestaciones del mito en la literatura, las artes y los medios de comunicación contemporáneos. In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Eliot la revaloriza, y tendrá que esperar hasta principios del XXI para que surjan producciones teatrales importantes para el texto. Christopher Marlowe emplea la traducción para proponer una recreación del mito que aparece en Eneida, y con una ardua arquitectura dramática transformarlo en una tragedia isabelina. Ese texto, de difícil acceso para el lector en español, se presenta en una edición bilingüe que permite transitar el ritmo del verso blanco en las dos versiones, y disfrutar de la obra de Marlowe en su dimensión dramática y filológica.

    Description: Paradoxality as a Specific Feature of Dostoevsky’s Literary Works. Techniques, Stylistics, Mechanisms of Action. All works by Dostoevsky reveal the presence of paradox. These paradoxes act according to mechanisms that depend either on the fictional (polyphonic) or nonfictional (monologic) text “dominant.” Taking as a starting point (a) the arguments of G.S. Morson, according to whom paradoxes “seem to carry the quintessence of ‘Dostoevskyism’, particularly of his brand of humor,” (b) the analysis of Dostoevsky’s paradoxical humor; and (c) the three main categories of paradoxes (“empty or rhetorical”, “negative”, “positive”), we argue that Dostoevsky applies a fourth type of paradox, one that affects neither the premise nor the ending of the paradoxical structure, but their intrinsic logical interconnection. This article analyses a repertoire of paradoxical techniques used by Dostoevsky, focusing on the destabilizing humoristic function they enact.

    Description: Humor and Irony as a Means of Combating Atheism in the Discourse of F.M. Dostoevsky . The question of the God’s existence troubled Dostoevsky throughout his life. He created a very convincing portrait of the atheist of his time. He did not consider unbelievers immoral, but only “infected with recklessness”, and when speaking of his atheist acquaintances, often admitted that they were good people. Dostoevsky created the image of an atheist as an intelligent person, who is guided not by the heart, but by the mind and who often evokes sympathy for his questing, his thinking, and his suffering (like Versilov or Ivan Karamazov). If we carefully consider the “atheistic” characters of Dostoevsky, however, we will see that atheism is a phenomenon associated with something both bad and funny. Through humorous details, Dostoevsky imperceptibly creates an image of the “atheist” as a comical and frivolous person.

    Description: 〈P〉The purpose of th is study is to describe certain features of Tsvetaeva's intermediate world and to demonstrate its relation to several peculiarities of Tsvetaeva's poetics, specifically, her predilection for oxymoron and the ambiguous nature and behavior of her lyrical personae. Furthermore, these important structural elements are viewed as inherent in Tsvetaeva's dichotomous poetic vision. Two thematic cores, "love" and "poetry", are analyzed with particular attention given to the investigation of the nature of their opposition. An analysis of the "love"/"poetry" pair specifically serves as a vehicle for obtaining information about the intermediate world. 〈/P〉

    Description: Poetry as a transterritory: theoretical-critical journeys This collective book has been conceived and organized with the aim of thinking of poetry as a genre that can be understood from the idea of territory, or from the tension between the territorialization–deterritorialization of languages in the creation process. At a general level, the authors propose that in the poetic dimension language opens up to broader conceptualizations such as the idea of transterritory: a territory that crosses other textual territories, deterritorializing them, but also a territory that allows itself to be crossed by other discourses, proposing nomadic territorializations. Poetry is the discourse which, by enhancing the possibilities of language at all its levels —those of sonority, words, syntax, semantics and discursive genre—makes it possible to operate territorial openings, which landmark or insinuate possible paths, and retrace the great tracks to proliferate in ramifications and allow to give way to divergent semantic, symbolic, ideological, affective, aesthetic and generic lines.

    Description: Este libro colectivo se ha concebido y organizado con el objetivo de pensar la poesía como un género que puede ser entendido a partir de la idea de territorio, o de la tensión que se establece entre la territorialización-desterritorialización de lenguajes en el proceso de creación. Lo que se pretende plantear a nivel general, es que en la dimensión poética el lenguaje se abre hacia conceptualizaciones más amplias como la idea de transterritorio: un territorio que atraviesa a los otros territorios textuales, des-territorializándolos, pero también un territorio que se deja atravesar por otros discursos, proponiendo territorializaciones nómades.     Description: “We laughed like from a tickle on the heart.” Dostoevsky’s Muddy Confession. When considering laughter in Dostoevsky, one immediately thinks of the long “tirade” in The Adolescent, which proposes a kind of physiology of laughter, and its unpredictable effects on the perception of those who witness it. Laughter and caustic humor color even the most intimate confessions and can serve to partially mask the difficult action of revealing oneself before others. Modernity itself is the era of self-exhibition, of a sort of widespread confession. And yet, the laughter of modernity has lost the essence of joy. Joy is a function of that almost impossible sincerity that unveils the essence of man. The grimace of the fool, who shamelessly denudes himself before others in confession, becomes a sign of the isolation of the modern self and the end of the utopia of sincerity pursued by Rousseau.

Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

This article addresses the question of Dostoevsky’s alleged anti-Semitism with particular attention to Uralskij and Mondry’s book devoted to this topic, in which conclusions about the author’s chauvinism and xenophobia are based on his use of the word ‘Jew’ (zhid). For almost the entirety of the 19th century, however, such word usage was not a marker of anti-Semitism. Throughout his life, Dostoevsky communicated with many representatives of the Jewish people without differentitating them in any particular way from representatives of other nationalities. In the writer’s poetic dictionary, the word ‘Jew’ sometimes denotes a person who acquires unscrupulously, examples of which Dostoevsky found in all nationalities of the world, including the Russian.

    Description: Two outstanding representatives of Russian modernism - Andrei Belyy for the movement of symbolism, Osip Mandel'tam for acmeism - chose the Caucasus as a tourist destination for their travels in the last decade of their lives within the borders of the Soviet Union. For both, the cultural-historical context was crucial in several ways in this choice. It concerns, on the one hand, the poet's own person and his cultural awareness, which refers to his integration into traditional contexts both in Russian and in world culture. On the other hand, Belyj and Mandel'štam in the Caucasus are looking for an encounter with a cultural space which, through its rich history, during which it has been exposed to a variety of foreign influences and yet retains its specific character, is able to provide these two factors in a unique way ,
    Description: Zwei der herausragenden Vertreter der russischen Moderne - Andrej Belyj für die Strömung des Symbolismus, Osip Mandel'štam für die des Akmeismus - wählten für ihre Reisen, die sie jeweils im letzten Jahrzehnt ihres Lebens innerhalb der Grenzen der Sowjetunion unternahmen, den Kaukasus als Reiseziel. Für beide war bei dieser Wahl der kulturgeschichtliche Kontext in mehrerer Hinsicht entscheidend. Er betrifft zum einen die eigene Person des Dichters und dessen Kulturbewußtsein, das sich auf seine Einbindung in Traditionszusammenhänge sowohl innerhalb der russischen als auch der Weltkultur bezieht.     Description: Los Coloquios de Baltasar de Collazos fueron publicados en ­Lisboa en 1568, de cuya edición solo se conserva un único ejemplar en la Biblioteca Nacional de España. Se trata de una obra que presenta la conversación, en dieciocho diálogos, de diferentes personajes en Sevilla acerca de sus problemas para sobrellevar una vida basada en el engaño, pues se fingen caballeros sin serlo. Ello les conduce al cuestionamiento de este modo de vida y da lugar a una interesante crítica a diferentes comportamientos de la sociedad española del siglo xvi. Aunque el autor es poco conocido, el texto ha sido puesto de relieve en varias ocasiones por su llamativa y tempranísima relación con la literatura picaresca y la celestinesca, así como por el novedoso tratamiento dado a algunos temas de especial interés en la época (economía, honor y moral, etc.). Varios aspectos, como la imagen de Sevilla, la visión de la hegemonía militar española o la apariencia de honradez tras la que se esconden sus parasitarios protagonistas, llaman la atención por el momento en que se sitúan. El trabajo que se presenta ofrece el texto editado con rigor, de acuerdo a criterios filológicos y modernos. A ello se suma un estudio que intenta situar la obra en su contexto histórico, cultural y literario, así como ­resolver las cuestiones más problemáticas del texto.

The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

    Description: Este libro es fruto de un proyecto colectivo de estudio, investigación, discusión y revisión que comenzó en el año 2014 en el IdIHCS, en la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata. A partir de los caminos trazados por Curtius, Auerbach, Jauss y Ong, surgieron los catorce estudios que forman parte de este volumen y que se escribieron con la intención de generar una contribución para el diálogo de una lectura cultural, transnacional y diacrónica de la literatura. El eje transversal que liga los textos que estructuran este trabajo plural está constituido por las tradiciones letradas y populares dentro de la poesía hispánica, especialmente en su vertiente lírica, y los intercambios simbólicos que son reconocibles entre tales tradiciones literarias, sus lenguas poéticas, sus variantes genéricas y sus autores. Para concretar tal tentativa también se han considerado otros acercamientos, no menos importantes, asociados al proceso de génesis y evolución de las formas líricas europeas estudiado por Dronke y Menéndez Pidal. Desde allí, se aborda la lírica románica contemplando su pasaje de la circulación oral a la manuscrita, la difusión de textos impresos a partir del siglo XVI y las tradiciones discursivas que pudieron haber intervenido en este proceso. De igual manera se estudia la permeabilidad de los textos líricos en su tránsito de la cultura monacal a la laica, en el contexto del intercambio entre el ámbito cortesano y el popular, tanto en sus dimensiones formales como ideológicas. De esta manera es como se contempla la complejidad de un corpus heterogéneo que abarca varios siglos de textos líricos ibéricos medievales, renacentistas y modernos en sus diversas manifestaciones.
